2010 Featured Artist ~ Claude Steelman ~ Wildshots, Inc.
 Our featured cover artist for the 2010 Home & Ranch Show magazine is
Claude Steelman, a celebrated photographer and videographer who
has spent the past 25 years documenting the wildlife, landscapes and
cultures of much of the world.
 Mr. Steelman's love for the outdoors led him to a career in nature
photography. He has traveled from the Arctic to the Central American
rainforest capturing the beauty of nature on film. His images have been
featured in hundreds of publications worldwide, and three of his photographs
appear on the tails of Frontier Airlines planes. His cinematography has also
been featured in wildlife documentaries for The Discovery Channel, PBS and
The National Geographic Channel.
Mr. Steelman has also published a number of books illustrating his love of
photography. Among his numerous and celebrated projects, his love of
America's vanishing wild horses cannot be overstated. With stunning
clarity of vision, he makes his case for protecting this extraordinary legacy of
America's history.
The magnitude of Mr. Steelman's contributions to helping the rest of us see our world in a new light, is most profound.
So we are very proud to feature this Durango-based artist for this years' Home & Ranch Show.
